About · The practice

A practice for
what comes next.

Inhouse CX is a product and systems practice. We help shape what's built, build the systems underneath, and stand up the ventures that emerge.

Operating logic

We operate as one integrated practice across three capabilities — product, systems, and ventures — because the best work happens when those three compound, not when they're separated into service lines.

Every engagement strengthens the practice, every system informs the ventures, every venture feeds the thesis. The work compounds because the practice does.

Founder

Inhouse CX is led by its founder, Clinton House, drawing on over two decades of experience in venture building, product development, and technology commercialisation.

Clinton works directly with founders, business leaders, and investment groups to identify, validate, build, and commercialise new opportunities — often stepping into adjacent or early-stage ideas that have clear potential but need structure, product thinking, and focused execution to become viable businesses.

He has founded and scaled multiple companies across SaaS, analytics, and services, and has been recognised through several national innovation and entrepreneurship awards. His experience spans both startup and corporate environments — launching new ventures within large organisations and building standalone high-growth businesses.

That dual perspective shapes how the practice engages: strong empathy for the founder journey — the conviction, pace, and creativity required to bring new ideas to life — combined with a clear understanding of the commercial, technical, and behavioural challenges early-stage concepts face, many of which are not visible at the outset.

The work sits across both strategy and execution. Rather than acting in a purely advisory capacity, Clinton steps into delivery — often through fractional leadership roles (Chief Product Officer, Chief Commercial Officer), shaping product architecture, guiding technology decisions, and working directly with engineering teams to bring products to market.

In practice, that includes:

  • Translating concepts into structured product and platform designs
  • Validating markets and refining value propositions
  • Designing scalable SaaS and AI-enabled systems
  • Supporting or leading build execution with internal or external teams
  • Driving early commercialisation, including customer validation and sales

The approach is practical and market-facing — ensuring ideas can be built, tested, and scaled into commercially viable products, not static recommendations.

Principles

Four principles that shape how we work.

01

Hands on the system

We work inside delivery, not from the outside. Every recommendation is held to the same test as the code we write.

02

Institutional continuity

The practice holds the work. No single-operator dependency; long timelines carried with rigour.

03

Compounding over one-offs

We choose engagements that strengthen the practice — that feed into systems, ventures, or future perspective.

04

Product and systems together

Product thinking shapes the platform; the platform reshapes the product thesis. Neither is downstream.
